Type - News report
Purpose - Our goal is to expand the PAYDAY universe and offer the community teasers and relevant information about the world of PAYDAY.
My Role - I was in charge of the whole process (except writing the script)
Approach - In close collaboration with the PAYDAY 3 lore writers, we create engaging stories that either tie into the main lore or offer the community new topics of discussion. And of course… have a lot of fun on set, allowing Vincent (the news anchor) plenty of room for improvisation.
Accomplishment - Expanding the universe beyond the game has brought the community much joy and sparked many conversations. A steady stream of videos provides the community with something exciting to anticipate.
This project has been an enjoyable endeavour for both our team and the community. Our objective is to enhance engagement and generate excitement for upcoming DLCs, while also fostering lively discussions among our community members. Personally, this experience has provided me with valuable insights into the intricacies of shooting like a real newscast. One of the notable challenges has been mastering the lighting of the greenscreen and ensuring optimal lighting for the news anchor.
